New Install BC 3 cant add devices

Hi just testing BC, install seemed all OK. When I add device it is detected, I select it & add UN:PW then ‘add selected camera’ but nothing happens, no screen change & no device added, no error displayed.

Any advice appreciated.

I’m sorry I missed this thread.

If you are still having the problem can you try to add the device manually with th IP address, username and password and then click the “ONVIF” button to see if the fields are added that way?

Hi Curtis,

Tried what u suggested, it behaves in the same manner, meaning when I click “ONVIF probe” after adding the correct UN PW & IP that works with BI, nothing happens, it does not return any feedback.

Strange. Is the bluecherry service running?

service bluecherry status

Can you restart the server and try again?

service bluecherry restart

Can you try a different browser?

I have previously tried your suggestions with no luck. Browsers used: Chrome & Firefox

Are you able to open port 7001 and an ssh port and message me the details?
