Live view plays for a couple seconds then quits
I also notice player controls in mac os chrome that were not there before
Which distribution / release are you using? I can get you a test build for RC4.
I’m actually glad you asked because I accidentally loaded it up on Ubuntu 20.10 and I meant to use 20.04.
I’ll be reloading it. Do you have instructions for migrating database and files somewhere?
Nevermind. It was a snap to reload. Just did a fresh install, moved files, imported a database dump. On Ubuntu 20.04 LTS I still have the issue.
Same issue with 3.1.0-rc4. Live view still plays for a few seconds then quits. No errors in Js console.

There should be some extra settings in RC4 in the Device → Properties section for HLS window size and HLS segment, some more discussion about this is below:
The stream plays fine in the client or in VLC. I changed some settings but didn’t find a resolution in the Github issue.
The problem started when I upgraded from 3.x to 3.1.0-rcx.
