I was wondering if there is a plan to update the linux client to qt5?
Watching this as well. I know you guys do a good job of supporting LTS releases in Ubuntu, but looks like only QT5 is supported on Ubuntu 20.04 and going forward.
Thanks for the comment. QT5 is planned as we are looking at a mobile client based around QT also at some point.
There is a pending PR for QT5 support which still needs to be looked at. If you have any developer experience you are welcome to poke the PR - https://github.com/bluecherrydvr/bluecherry-client/pull/316
So there is no option to run the client on anything newer than Ubuntu 16.04/18.04 or the supported Debian release? Is it possible to run the client on the 20.04 Ubuntu LTS?
