License key problem

I had a system total crash, the SD drive is dead. So i needed to hook up a full new system (Ubuntu Linux Server 22.04.4). I installed Bluecherry successfully, its running, and wanted to activate it with my purchased code, but i got the error:
“The license has reached it’s allowed activations limit.”
I think because its not deactivated from my previous system. What can i do to get my code again wotrking? Its urgent as i have more cams… :frowning:
Thanks!

Hello, you can reset your license online here (https://help.bluecherrydvr.com/en/articles/8568656-reset-bluecherry-licenses).

Hi,
Thanks a lot! I could reset it now, everything is fine now.

Hello, I also am having a License issue, similar but not exactly the same. I am running Bluecherrydvr on 24.04.1 ubuntu. I was running 3.1.9 with an 8 stream license - everything was working fine. I upgraded to 3.1.11 without observed errors. After install, logged into the server. Remote client was connecting fine and displaying my feeds. Server said my trial was over or some possible time issue (I did not memorize the notice). I checked the license page and saw my active license buth with 0 ports. I rebooted the server and no change. I deactivated the license and the license information cleared. I entered the license code and selected activate, however I received a message that my license has reached its max activation attempts. I tried to go to the license reset link above but received ancludflare error 1014.

I’m also in the process of building a permanent server, the temporary Zimaboard is fairly maxed out, and I planned on deactivating my license and moving it to the new server once ready. Is a license not really portable or do you need to deactivate prior to doing anything?

Thanks

I’m sorry we missed your post. Please email support@bluecherrydvr.com with your license key.

Thanks, I have started an email dialog with them.
