Generic Camera Issue

Hello,

I’ve just installed Bluecherry on Ubuntu 18.04. It’s up and running, but I’m having issues getting a camera working. I’ve used the paths and ports that are working fine on Zoneminder, but they don’t work here.

The error log says:

Sep 25 22:28:36 nvr bc-server[771]: E(1/SecCamNE): Error starting device stream:
Sep 25 22:28:43 nvr bc-server[771]: E(1/SecCamNE): Failed to analyze input stream. Error: -1 (Operation not permitted)

Any ideas?

Can you attach a screen shot? Are you using H.264?

ah ha! good call. I had H265 set on the camera from before. It appears to work when I change it to H264.
