Not sure if this is in the best area / section to ask. But just for something down the road as an idea or suggestion to maybe add at some time but it would be nice to have a basic configuration / settings / license backup button and a restore button added to the web management.
This is not to back up the recordings and database for the recordings. This would back up camera configurations, user accounts, license. Have a section in the web management that would say pull all this and put it in a Tar file and then have a button that could restore the base configs. Just a thought for maybe a future add in. I have not read to many people besides myself asking about how to back up that much and restore to say a new rebuilt machine.
Anyway, Love the DVR 3.0, keep up the great work!
