Camera stop recording - update 3.1.13

Hi, after update to 3.1.13 I have no records from camera.

I’ve had ‘Cannot start recording’ messages when I have had an incompatible audio encoder selected in one of my cameras. When I have had the wrong audion encoder selected I would get the ‘Failed to init muxer for output file…’ messages as well.

Can’t garantee you have the same issue, but when my camera settings have not been compatible, I get those muxer errors.

Thank you for tip, I use H.265 on camera, I believe it Ok, bycosouse it worked before this error.

Some cameras encode audio with various options. I only mention this because bluecherry stated they did some audio updates in 3.1.13.

You could do a quick try by going into your none working camera and disabling audio and see if recordings starts, though only a suggestion.

Thank you, I tried turning off the audio recording as you advised, and it really helped. The recordings are being created again.

good to here.

For reference, one of my cameras only has G.711 or G.711A for audion encoding, no AAC. If I select G.711 camera works and I can hear audio in the streams however there are some warnings in the log. If I select G.711A I get that muxer error and recordings have stopped. I’d make sure your camera is not set for G.711A. If you have AAC or G.711 audio coders, select one of them and re-enable audio if you want audio.

Glad you got it running again.

I didn’t find setting option for audio encoding in my camera settings. According to detail of older record it is MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a) 16000Hz, 32 bit
