Hi, so I’ve been testing Bluecherry the last week and seems pretty solid - But, I haven’t been able to workout why I’m unable to stream this camera:Reolink 810a - 8MP. According to documentation the camera provides a H.264 and H.265 stream - I’ve tried with both a 264 and 265 stream and I keep getting the below in the logs for the camera:
The issue seems that it’s only recording 1 second clips for the camera - But oddly enough the live view / of the camera works flawlessly… It’s just not recording… Not sure what to look at to fix it? Any suggestions?

From what I’ve read, I cannot quite work out if H265 is fully supported by Bluecherry yet or not. Which is why I’ve configured Bluecherry with the H264 Streams.
RTSP Streams I’m using:
Main Stream: rtsp://admin:111111@192.168.0.110:554/h264Preview_01_main

When I view the stream in VLC - /h264Preview_01_main - It shows it’s using “Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)”
Video resolution: 2304x1296
Frame rate: 29.970030
To confirm there is is a mp4 file but it’s just 1 second or you only see a jpg file?
Hey, thanks for the response yes - There appears to be an MP4 every second.
Recording events in /playback also list the 1s recordings.

We looked over what you provide and noted the following:
looks like ffmpeg av_interleaved_write_frame return value throws less than zero, bc_log recorded the issue, write_packet method returns “false” value hence, as per the code, it stops the recording for every few frames.
In short, we think the camera may be sending corrupted frames (but not continuously) which might not able to handle well. If you can attach an mp4 file (send me a message if you don’t want to post it here).
Can you make sure the camera you are using is updated to the latest firmware? Can I get remote access to the web UI of the camera?

Just an update I’ve ran new Cat6a SFTP cabling to the camera in question as there were some errors on the port. Unfortunately though, this hasn’t resolved the issue, though there are no errors on the port now at the switch. Perhaps there’s some issue with the camera and it’s codec.
